I just got two Campagnolo bb spindles that I have never seen before they have the press on race but not made out of titanium like the SR spindle it is steel with the words "CON SFERE DA 3/16" does anybody know this spindle.

It's an old Record spindle that works with special cups that are similarly marked. The conventional wisdom is that they were made for only one year, that year being 1963 by most accounts. They work with thin walled (Record, not Nuovo Record) cups, so they can't be matched with SR cups.
