I've seen plenty of 1930s-1950s thorn catchers, so I know how they should go, but what about the tire savers we all had in the 70s and early 80s, made from wire and flexible tubing? Which direction should they be mounted - so they "follow" the direction of tire rotation, or facing against tire rotation?
