Actually all this illuminates a rather big "missing link" in our collectiv e knowledge base here: GB Stems.

Pete Paine's website covers the brakes rather nicely but what of all those

myriad stems, the hinduminium spearpoint (is that a great name or what?) , the all too familiar stem with the GB on it that no Super Course would be without? And the cool rival to the Cinelli: the "Bibi" (where did they g et that name?)... we've seen them all but I'll be darned if I can dat e most of them in an cogent manner or know the pecking order of them all.

Ah, to have a complete run of "Cycling" and a cold winter's day, I could get this sorted in less time than it takes a Veloflex Criterium to go squishy waiting for the thaw..
