Todd asked about this bike:

http://ebay.com/<blah>

This bike used to belong to me. I sold it to a courier type at Trexlertown last fall. The guy suppsedly wanted to use it to ride across the country... Looking at the saddle extension in the photo, the guy who bought it from me has either sold it onwards to somebody else or suddenly grown at least 6 inches.

I sold it to him very cheaply (at less than the price that it has been bid up top now). The bike is actually nicer than what you would see glancing at it casually.

The story accompanying the auction is also not completely correct. The bike truly belonged to a fellow who was part of the Italian national Military Team Time Trial team that won the World Championship in the 70's (yes, they do have such championships!). If a listmember buys the bike, please let me know and I can likely dig out the exact details of the rider.

The bike was built by AGNETTI
