Subject: [CR]Gasoline works best

Hello, just my input.... I worked in natural gas processing for over 20 years, yes twenty years plus, running a 200mmcf cryogenic natural gas processing plant. We had 3 ultrasonic cleaners in our lab and you know where they sat. Under the counter in the lab, in a cabinent with the cords all wrapped up in their stainless trays, collecting spider webs. They were a joke. The vibrating for deep dirt never worked like we wanted. The new environmental age of folks (gen X) are environmentally friendly, but I still stand on my theory of gasoline, no not varsol in parts washers, but a nice little tub of gasoline. Set the parts in it and let it saok a while. Dangerous? Definately, if you are burning a cig around it, but we are all supposed to be bikers and not smoke right? Keep the ignition sources away (that means dont make sparks with the parts), and let it soak a while. When you are finished and the cleaning is over, put the gas in a separate can and store for the next cleaning job. Don't dump in the sewer or on the ground as this is environmentally unfriendly and illegal. Thanks for your time, and one last comment, the faster it works for you, the more dangers. Dont breathe the fumes from the gas you clean with or the fumes from the pump. It is loaded in benzene and very cancerous. Best Regards, John in Texas
