Date with Death by Clifford Graves, about Meiffret:

http://cycling.ahands.org/bicycling/datewithdeath.html

I remember seeing Félicien Vervaecke referred to as the "bike wrecker", because of a very ungraceful style, in one of the Kennedy Bros. booklets. I wonder what's the word for "bike wrecker" in Flemish?

Julien Vervaecke (1899-1940) was Félicien's (1907-1986) older brother.

Thanks for then interesting and informative post, Mick.
