Interesting how we looking at true racing bike of this era (early 1960s) and marvel that it was by its geometry... a racing bike! Tis true. Indeed, if this is 72 degs parallel it is THE racing bike geometry of the period a t least when it comes to British and French machines, is it not? The PX-10 is precisely this for example with a similar if not identical fork rake. Di tto most of the British machines of the era. Just the ticket when men were m en and you had one-day races like London to Holyhead, some 230 miles... in ONE DAY.

Is this a perfect mix of road handling, comfort and lightness or what? Simp ly brilliant. As I trust the Viking Severn Valley would be. Plus you get that cool headbadge. Thank goodness this frame is too darned small for me..
