Subject: [CR]Re Challenge tires

Greetings Listmembers, I looked in the archives for info on the Challenge Paris Robaix tires, in 2002 they seemed hit or miss as far as roundness and lumpyness.

I would like to put fat tubulars in my 1960 Bianchi, the Challenge tires "look" good, has any one used them lately?.

I have to thank Ed Litton publicly for the work he did on the frame, the plater did every thing he could to scrap the frame, his polisher nearly removed the edges of the head lugs. I know Ed spent hours with files re-establishing the square edges. I started with a Specialissima that was very rusty and had been striped of its paint and chrome, and now I have the Bianchi I have lusted after for years.
