I recently came across and bought a Dave Moulton. I have confirmed with Dave that the bike is a 1976 build from the UK, before his move to the US.
The bike currently has a bad re-spray on it and an odd mix of mis- matched parts.
My problem is that the bike is a 58 cm which really is too big for me to ride comfortably.
I am now torn, as to what to do with it. Go ahead and restore it, repaint, decals, etc. Or simply sell it and let someone else do the retso.
My fear is that if I do the restoration I will not be able to part with it and yet I will have it here taunting me.
So,
In the way of asking an AA meeting whether I should have another drink - should I go ahead and restore it or sell it or .........
Anyone here know any collectors that favour Moultons??
