HELLO TO ALL This last week has seen a long negotiation (I got some money
back) with an Ebay seller who did not reveal a fair amount of rust, etc on a
Mercian 753 I just purchased until I had aleady paid. It has some reasonably
decent parts I will not use when I rebuild the bike next year. It is going
off to Assenmachers for some repairs and a refurbish (including a rear
dropout adjustment screw that came seized and already sheared off) to wait
in line for next fall! The sale of the following parts (that do not fit me)
will help pay for the frame repairs and repaint.I will charge as little as I
can to ship..
(1) SUPER RECORD 53/42CRANKSET in the hard to find 177.5 for you big
folks in nice shape with the usual very small nicks here and there, the
derailleur scratches on the back and shoe scuffs. One bolt a bit rusty. All
threads OK. No cracks visible with my jewelers loup. Medium chainring
wear...$150
(2) SR TITANIUM BB ASSY. in nice condition. In my opinion, the
aluminum cups show very light bearing wear but have tool scratches on the
adjustable cup and a slight tool distortion on the tighten side of the fixed
cups. With the loose bearings I found in it and a sugino dust
sleeve.........$88
(3) SUPER RECORD TITANIUM TRACK PEDALS with some scuffs and small
scratches. A verysmall bend toward the end of the right cage on the top and
not much cleat wear. Plastic dust caps not graunched but the chrome is
erroded, Feel smooth and would clean up nicely.For light
