I bought and paid for the frame. When I sent him a check for the paint and repair work, he said the frame had been sold on ebay, and returned my check plus the original purchase price. When asked, he would not provide an ebay item number nor did any sale of a Colnago frame show up on his feedback.
I did not call him a cheat or imply he was a cheat. I said BEWARE, and simply reported what happened to me. Bob Freeman may be the most wonderful guy in the world. But he sure didn't treated me in a forthright manner.
