The covering on a couple of my old saddles are torn. What glue should be used to replace the leather or vinyl covering? I sometimes experience a NOS saddle might have a small section of the perfectly good covering coming off too, and it would be nice to just spot glue it on. Would I use the Barge cement that shoe shops use or contact cement or something else?
