Hi all, many thanx for all the info and replies. I've just recieved my older Record model from the 80's, all I've done is remove from the box to make sure all was AOK and there. It is, so now I have to decide what I really want to do with it.

I had a Record back in the early 80's, and then a Sprint after the other one with me riding it had a dissagreement with a Mitsi car. I had the Sprint for close on 10 years, the only problem it ever gave me was a small crack on the bottom head lug, was from the bottom edge at the front face, at the time was a daily rider so I had it stripped at work and welded the same day and back together, never any problems after that untill the day I sold it.

I even found a packet of photos that I took of it one cloudy day, so thats one of the first jobs I'll be doing with my new scanner.

Anyway getting back to it, I think it may end up being a wall hanger after I strip the parts from it, it has a lot of Stronglight componets, with the brakes, hubs & deraileurs being Suntour Superbe & Superbe Pro. Needs a good cleanup, & alignment check, looks uncrashed and quite complete, too small for me to ride, and while not Red like my 2 others that I have had over the years does look good in Silver, Silver was the 1st one I ever saw in person.

Cripes I've not gotten there, I am after a sticker set if able, but if it comes down to it I would settle for a new headbadge sticker, its the worst one, I can trade stuff from my collection, or pay by paypal........regards wayne davidson Invers NZ.........
