Hi Paul,

You're probably just in need of #6 flat brass or stainless washers, and those can be found in many better hardware stores in bulk (100) for around $3.00.

On the other hand if you're looking for the fancier beveled washer/nipple setup, I'd be interested in finding a source as well. Here's a photo of wha t I'm referring to:
