Subject: [CR]UK source of Mavic spare bits?

Hi all,

I have a Mavic 840 short cage rear derailleur which, despite little use, was wrecked after my road bike suffered a broken spoke/transmission "argument" last autumn. I could keep it as a source of spares for another 840 on my cyclo-cross bike, but it would be nice to get it working again. The bit preventing it from working again is the allen bolt which both attaches the whole thing to the frame and anchors one of the main springs. If anyone has a spare bolt, or a bolt from a truly irreparable mech, , or knows of a good source of such bits, drop me a line and let me know - will reimburse cost and 1st Class UK postage as appropriate. Would also be interested to receive news of S/H Mavic bits from the same era (e.g. 862 braze-on front mech, 631 double chainset, etc.) for sale in the UK, but this is a longer-term project to wait until I have more money!!

Thanks in advance,
David Belcher
