Tom I have a 1961 paramount currently and have owned a 67 and others from the 60's and the bike your talking about sounds like it is correct. The bike should have 2 brake cable stops brazed on the rt side(drive side) of top tube at about the 5 oclock position. If you want pics of my bike email me off list and i will send some.
