Except the guy specifically states the shipping cost to USA. So perhaps he accepts personal checks in $US? If so, I certainly wouldn't have a problem sending a check if he can deal with converting the currency. On the other hand, if he expects a US buyer to send a personal check in GB pounds, or even in Euros, he is going to be disappointed.

I can live with the photos. What I cannot live with is his method of payment. Sellers who want to offer their wares to an international market have got to get beyond provincial business practices and sign up for PayPal.
