Ken; In an earlier letter to Dale, I sort of agreed with some of the rant about poor photos etc, but I'll back off a bit. Like yourself, I've dealt with Paul and found him to be exceptional to deal with, and he's sold quite a number of very nice cycles the past few years. Granted Paul's photos are not the best, but he deserves credit for posting a number of frames per auction. Some sellers occasionally post only one photo and expect bidders, and then post blurry photos.

My only real pick with Paul is his charge of L88 Pounds Brittish Sterling for shipping per frame which is a bit heavy. I just recieved a frame from David Miller at Hetchins which cost L65 Pounds to ship, plus I've had about four or five frames shipped in recent months and all have been about the same L60 to L65 Pounds using Parcel Force to ship.

As for funding, or what the seller will accept, this is at the sellers choice. It might be better for us as potential buyers to have sellers accept Paypal, but for some reason I've found many of the Brittish sellers either don't trust Paypal or online payment, or just don't understand it. I have suggested Paypal to a number of sellers in the UK over the past few years, and a few have started using it, but I've found that unless you write and ask if they accept Paypal, they will not advertize it on thier auction page. If they accept Paypal, they will usually want to be reimbursed the Paypal fees.

Best regards, Peter Naiman Milwaukee, WI
