You are in the land of volumetric weight. You have to get the package down to the bare minimum volume. If you could get this down to 94 cm X 61cm X 12cm (probably too tight). That's fork off and conformal packing. It would be around $170 CDN by Canada Post Xpresspost. I dont see why under Canadian rules you can't ship by even lower and slower ways but that didn't come up on the website. You get length plus girth = 3M and no dimension over 1.5M so it should be easy to ship by the various Canada Post methods.

\r?\n> sendingitems to Rome, Italy? The 59cm Guerciotti frame I have on eBay:

\r?\n>

\r?\n> http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7233073036

\r?\n>

\r?\n> Has elicited a request for what shipping to Rome would be and I'm

\r?\n> gettinginsane numbers from the online calculators. CanadaPost

\r?\n> tells me $260 CDN,

\r?\n> UPS $392 CDN, Fedex $470 CDN (!!!). There has to be a less expensive

\r?\n> alternative. Anyone?

\r?\n>

\r?\n> Thanks,

\r?\n>
