I don't know why this struck me as funny, but there is no Cinelli or TTT stem nearly as well made as the Pearl. It is the Pearl that is the standard, rather than the reverse. As a European I am certainly not immune to this sort of Euro-snobbery, but I do find it amusing. Please don't take this as any sort of put down, I often do it myself. It's just a casual observation.
