Many thanks to all the helpful replies to the list and also privately to my query regarding Mavic brakes for my 1986 PX. And yes it was just a PX by then.

Of course here's another machine that tests the CR List timeline cut-off! But you can't get anymore classic than this: lugged steel, toe-clip pedals, non indexing derailleur and a component group (Mavic) that must be one of the last all new classic ones. And all French despite those Modolo-made brakes darn it. Oh and Italian tubing..
