Newbie questions: I am curious what tie magic of 1982 as the cut off for "appropriate topic" on the CR list. From the outside it looks arbitrary. It isn't 20 or 25 year, or a year I would normally round to, such as 1980, 1975, and so on. I am also curious if this ever updates. Will we still cut it off in ten years at 1982?
