My favorite is a Trek 600 Series. (especially with the new wheels/tires; OT). The ride is very smooth, responsive, comfortable, but best of all: FAST. I can ride for hours on end (though I've never done a century) and not get tired. My next favorite is an '83 Peugeot, but the cornering/accelerating just doesn't compare to the Trek.
