I thought it was neat that some Raleigh roadster bikes had a steering lock fitted in one side of the tubular forkcrown. I am away from home so I can't check but I'm sure I have a photo of Coppi riding a bike badged as a Coppi that has a tubular fork crown. Not quite the same as a Raleigh as it is slightly barrel shaped. Ray Green, currently of Harrow, Middlesex
