I agree with Dale. This bike appears to me (btw not the owner!) built as a really nice rider, useful to the owner. Perhaps "as original" is not always right for a practical rider. The replacements are all of high quality and high utility, keeping a vintage look as far as possible. If he needed such a setup to be able to enjoy the great design of an International, he couldn't have achieved it with original or period-correct parts.

No saddle or pedals, chartreuse-green bike:

Half of the parts are replaced (bars, stem, rims, brakes) and its listing at $795 (8 bids) with about $50 overhead tacked onto the shipping price.

You know, that is a highish price maybe for an International but who is to say? I don't see a problem here.. Obviously this owner/seller cared a lot for this bike... the pics show a carefully setup bike modified the way many BOB type folks would do it with a lot of respect for it's age and character. And he took darn nice photos too.. I have to respect this auction and it's clean integrity. I hope the seller gets a nice price and the new owners enjoys that bike as much as the seller seems to have! BTW, the seller even by offes to refund any monies paid for shipping over the actual amount! He's a prince!
