Subject: [CR]'48 JRJ Posted on Wool Jersey

I've posted the original snaps of my '48 JRJ "Olympic" Path frame on my wool jersey collection. JRJ are the initials for J. Robert Jackson, and the lads at Jacksons told us this was the oldest they'd seen. The reinforced chainstay treatment is quite cool, my other, later, rattle-can-finished JRJ track bike doesn't have them. I am HOPING to renew correspondence with the other listers who first contacted me when I purchased the frame some time ago, as I'd like to refinish it...with the help of photos of the transfers, and insight of those who've ridden their JRJ's for the better part of 50-60 years, I think this "Olympic" model will make a stunning 4-speed!

I've also got some of my NOS Ambrosio handlebars on e-bay right now, CR members in CONUS can get up to three sets shipped for the same price.

Finally got a decent camera, dammit I guess I am just a point-and-shoot guy after all! Wish me luck chasing the Ray Dobbins benchmark!
