Tom Sanders posted these pics of a mystery bike. http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/mystery-french-bike

It looks quite like my Raphael Geminiani, only in chrome. I believe I've seen a picture of a chrome Geminiani sometime or another. My Geminiani is a painted, durafort-tubed model, so probably not top of the line. I have never scratched it to see if it is chrome all over, but it has chromed fork and stay lowers (or did before the rust). That said, my Geminiani lacks any of the unsual mounts or unusual derailleurs you mention, so I can't connect it to your mystery that way. FWIW, I have been told by a few persons that Geminianis, certainly the lesser ones, were actually built at the Gitane factory. So: yours could also be a Gitane, or even some other boutique label that they built for someone else. Know its not much help, but its the best I can do. Definitely study the picks of the Geminianis at CR site. As a heads-up, note that no one knows much about Geminianis, at least no one that I know of.
