Don't know the seller or the bike, and I'd be frightfully surprised to find them lurking on CR. So even with the Cyclart "tempest de teapot" fresh in mind, I will still express myself.

This here's another awkward listing that begs for questions. It says it's a 27-inch bike, but another auction by the same seller is for a ladies' Schwinn Super Sport, also listed as 27-inch. The classic wheel-size head-fake from this seller. So if you're not so tall and into the Paris Sport brand, write the seller and ask 'em to stick a measuring tape on it. I'm guessing it's a 60, maybe 61cm. I've been wrong before.

Beyond which, WHAT UP YO with the AWFUL photos? What's the thing they left hanging in front of the bike on each profile? Why put in a too-small backdrop? Why mess with the images -- they've been squeezed and everything's out of proportion. What's with the microphone--is the bike capable of speech? You want $275 bucks for a bike, any bike, think first and shoot pictures later.

Just to muddy up the archives a little, I will also mention that this isn't either a Masi or PX-10, but with the right paintjob I'd hardly be able to tell the difference since I haven't spent time on either one. I have ridden a nice Elswick cycletruck, however. Just now I'm tantalizingly close to piecing together that 1972 Witcomb I got a few months back, and I'm simultaneously tearing apart a damaged Gazelle and a too-small bargain Pinarello. We'll see if I'm smart enough to follow my own photography advice for eBay auctions before too long....
