http://tinyurl.com/fc2sd a stunning frame with less than stellar components outside of the brakes

and wheels, bars and stems. Inspired by one of our list members, I would like to get this frame as close to original as i possibly can. the previous owner was not sure of

the year, he had bought it used about 20 years ago. So, my assumption is that: first, I check through the archives for any information on Falcons. then photograph the bike and post the images for additional list help. figure out the component group for the particular application of the frame for the period. this may be a touring frame which i am less familiar with. start resourcing parts (ebay, etc.) change diet to peanut butter and jelly + ramen noodles to afford it.

the frame was professionally painted some years ago black by the previous owner. It was originally chrome. chrome is a total seduction for me- who would be the most responsible out there to strip, chrome and

redo the decals (which are non-existant).

I do not have a time limit for this, but would like to get it right. any advice? -- gabriel l romeu mid New Jersey flatlands (who don't need no triple sugino chainring) USA ± http://studiofurniture.com Ø http://journalphoto.org ±
