Beautiful photos Ray!!!

I also love my Ugo team blue late 80s De Rosa mightily. Mine has a small De Rosa decal on the top tube instead of Pernod decal like your '86 has (I think mine is from '89 and is Super Record equipped). The winner of the Pernod competition was considered to be the best rider of the year. Very highly regarded and a better indicator than the Worlds or the Olympics of the year's best. I've also seen the the same decal with Francesco Moser's name on it (different year's of course).

Given how you've set up your bike, why not use your large flange C- Record you show in the photos along with Campagnolo Crono rims? Those hubs match the crank perfectly!

Interesting that the '86 De Rosa catalog showed the Pro SLX (the only road model) equipped with either C-Record http://bulgier.net/pics/bike/Catalogs/de_rosa-86/1.jpg or Super Record (mine looks like this photo) http://bulgier.net/pics/bike/Catalogs/de_rosa-86/4.jpg

Perfect transition model so one can use trad or aero depending on how you feel at the moment <grin>.
