Ah the three speed Sprite, so much better than the unfathomably crappy drivetrained 10 speed sprite. I convereted my girlfriends sprite into a 3 speed as the derailers and shifters were so unbelievably craptastic.

I am with all the other advisors in saying get a 20-24 tooth cog for the SA hub and do not worry too much about chainring or new hub.

What I like about Elena's sprite: http://tsaleh.blogspot.com/2006/05/raleigh-sprite.html is that the seat tube is really really long for a mixte type bike. She is pretty tall and the bike looks right under her.

The workmanship on the frame is typical bike boom raleigh crap, but it is big and solid and has nice matching fenders so it is pretty darn cool.
