Ahha, making false claims! Got to watch those French. I think I've only used a pair or two of the La Viper pads - can't remember if they actually squealed or not.

BTW, speaking of pads, anyone know where to buy Malthauser or other high quality replacement pads that will fit Weinmann brake shoes? Preferably red like the originals. I'd rather reatin the Weinmann shoes. I have some old Weinmann pads that are hard as rock.

My experience is that the La Vipere pads don't squeal. Well, you can get them to but it takes work. Almost silent on my bikes. Phil Brown But I use braze on pivots in San Rafael, Calif.
