Subject: [CR]More questions on my Stainless spokes.

I seem to have started this thread about stainless spokes by enquiring when they first appeared. The wheels I mentioned apparently came off a '69 Paramount. They seem to have what a buddy identified as Weinman Gentleman rims...they are highly polished boxy things with no markings on them at all.

My question is now about the spokes. They have an upper case E on the spoke heads and are quite slender...more than one might expect, is my thought. Are these the Trois 'Etoile spokes by Robergel? I believe Joe BZ referred to them as "Infamous"? These seem to be in beautiful condition and are very nearly forty years old. I'm not sure that I was in such perfect condition at that age...how bad could they be? You'd think I could remember, it being only about 24 years ago, but these days my memory is only a memory. Are these such seriously dangerous spokes that I should be concerned? They
look great to me!
