JUNE 7.1933, MY BDAY, To morrow June 7 2006 I leave ALONE to drive once again to Greensboro, THIS IS MY BIRTHDAY what a way to spend it in the bloody car all day, hope to do 860 miles to St Louis, then Thursday another 5-600 miles and in on Friday by noon. wife is flying out on Friday and we will both drive back, maybe stop in Nashville, I will bring my 1950 Mercian with a few extra added goodies, hope you all enjoy seeing them as I am SURE I will enjoy seeing what you all bring. AGE is a real puzzle, I feel the best I have in years, last Sunday I rode in the Elephant rock 100 ride, along with 3 thousand others, by the time I got home to Parker, I had done 120 miles, did the 100 in 5hrs and 15mins, EVEN I was surprised, did the 100 in 4hrs 12mns when I was 17yrs old, GUESS AGE again I think ONE thing I am looking forward most to, is meeting some of you in person, the ones that have put up with my silly chatter in the past, I know that technically I have NOT had a lot to offer, BUT its good to have a laff once in a while, So if you see a Ferrari Testarossa disguised as a VOLVO with a little old grey haired Brit driving,it could be ME.
