I remember quite clearly seeing a gold plated Raleigh lightweight model
on show at our local bike shop in the 1980's At the time were awarded to
Raleigh dealers in the UK for reaching the achieved number of sales in a
given period. I now understand they are now among the collectors items
as only a limited numbers were manufactured.
