Hi all, thanks for the photos and accounts of the Cirque! Like many, I wish I were able to attend. Here's selfishly hoping that it moves west in the future and becomes more convenient for yours truly. You listening M.Kone? To some of you on the list, I've just listed some items on ebay that may interest you. Namely, early 60's issues of the American Cycling Newsletter and the Northern Cali Cycling Newsletter. I've had these long enough, and it is very apparent to me that there are folks out there, and in here, who would be better stewards and caretakers of these types of historical publications. I feel bad propping stuff here that's listed there, but I have no idea if these things are worth anything to anyone except me, and would have no idea of fair value. The ebay I.D. is eencore and here's a link to one of the listings, hope this works, http://ebay.com/<blah> pagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1 There's also a Cali Masi brochure listed, among others. I wonder if some of the list members are shown or mentioned in the newsletters? A "promising 13 year old Gary Fisher" is shown racing on a cool Legnano in 1964. How did he get so far off-track since then? Just kiddin' G! There are also great ads from the likes of Spence Wolf at CBS, Montrose Bike Shop and so forth. Seeing what a Masi Special could be had for in 1964 makes me laugh. Was a lot of dough then, but sounds ridiculous now! Please keep the photos of the Cirque coming, and let's hear more accounts of it, as we who did not attend live vicariously through those who did. Thanks to all.
