Gabriel, and others, not a list, but an advert for our shop here in Philly. Our shop, Via Bicycle, in Philadelphia is all on topic. We sell bikes from the 1950s to the early 1980s through our storefront and fix any era bike, from 1880s High wheelers to the latest carbon shifting ergo bikes. Our treasure trove is upstairs though, rarely seen by outsiders, controlled by Curtis and "ralph". We usually have a test one must pass to gain access- *Mr. Hetchins first name or *your favorite Campagnolo catalog or *your favorite lug

or we simply ask you what bikes you own, and that is a good indication of your character. . . .or the size of your purse!

It is somewhat by appointment only, you must let me know ahead of time and make sure that I am there otherwise you are S.O.S. upstairs is an array of Bianchis, Paramounts, Graftek, Carlton, Ephgrave, Cinelli, Teledyne, Peugeots and many many more. see anything from 1880s Victor high wheeler, to 1893 Columbia roadster(fixed gear as well) with oval chainring to some of Fred Delong's personal bikes to Edward Schwinn custom paramount frame from the Schwinn museum.

It all sounds so grand, but add in over 100 years of cycling memorabilia and 2 people that have no ability to organize and are constantly acquiring old closed bike shops coolest stuff, and that is what you will find here.

but do keep in mind, the bicycle shop downstairs is a different entity than the cool stuff upstairs. It is the money maker downstairs that allows us to travel the county buying all that cool stuff. So you must not bother them about vintage lightweight stuff, even though they would love to talk your ear off, as seen by their presence at Cirque du Cyclisme this year. Our website is down right now, for maintenance, but will be up and running shortly, you can email me there http://www.bikeville.com or just reply to this. We are located in center city Philadelphia, 20 feet off of South Street, the tourist section for the rest of your family to hang out on while you are ogling over bikes. Not to sound like we are the best place to visit in the world, but here in Philadelphia we are the definitive Vintage lightweight shop.

p.s., I will be on vacation in lovely Acadia, Maine from July 1st-through the 9th.

Is there an updated list of places I should drop in dealing with on topic bikes in the aforementioned cities (and anywhere in between) I could drop in during my numerous visits?
