Subject: [CR]FOR SALE; Lots of stuff

Dear list,

Please take this stuff off a my hands:

-Martano tubular rims, N.O.S, "bowtie" decals in good condition, for your MASI, 32 hole , in the original plastic wrapper, includes the washers. $120.00

-Colnago book, 1986, only 5000 English copies ever published, NOT originally offered for sale; this is THE Colnago history book. Includes original dust cover jacket; ALL in perfect condition. $85.00

-"Flying Scotsman; the Graeme Obree Story. New copy. $18.00

-Wheels; Campagnolo "NON- RECORD" high flange hubs are pre 1962. 32 hole front and a 40 hole rear, DT straight 14 gauge laced cross 3 to Sun CR 18 700C clincher rims. Cloth Zefal rim strips are installed. With "flat" Campy quick release skewers, rear is 126 spacing. Valve hole is in a "BIG" space and opposite spokes are facing away or towards one another; so these are built right (at least correct to me). Hubs have one previous build as evidenced by very minor deformations at the spoke holes. The finish of the hubs is in excellent condition. The front hub has a little doohickey thing; a "nipple", that is inserted through an extra hole ( drilled in line with the spoke holes) for some kind of Lucas mechanical odometer (I think). These wheels have maybe 200 miles on them as put on by me; they were absolutely new and unridden when I bought them. A couple of black rubber brake pad marks marring the side walls of the rims is all that distinguishes these wheels from new. A little denatured alcohol would get these right off. These wheels are straight , true, and smooth; i.e. perfect. $195.00

-Campagnolo Catalogo n.17 ,from 1974, Silver cover. ******This is the one that started it all for me (****** not my original copy, she's a keeper), this one is in very good condition, slightly dog eared cover. Really nice if you don't have one. $55.00

-Seat post; Campagnolo Nuovo Record 27.2, long version, very good condition, should polish up very nicely $25.00

-Seatpost; SR MTE-100 27.0mm LaPrade type laid back cantilever seatpost, bolt underneath (not quick release), adds 2 1/2 inches of extra rearward saddle movement, N.O.S, shop worn $20.00
