In 1956 Williams listed at least three chainsets. The best quality with nice fluted cranks was the C1232 in double and C1200 in single. Both were three arm. The B100 was five bolt similar to a 49D and available in half inch and one inch pitch. The C34D was described as suitable for touring and in the late fifties was fitted to dozens of models of "sports bike" eg Claud Butler, Viking, Falcon etc. Rings were typically 50x34 which funnily enough is the hottest ticket in town on the "new" compact chainsets!
