I checked out a veritable history of bicycling board games from the link posted yesterday. Most of them seem to fall pretty far from the mark. Some are quite attractive, and others are just interesting from the historical perspective. The problem is that cycling as a sport, doesn't match the limitations set by picking a card at random, or rolling the dice. How do we bring in all the relevant aspects of drafting, team members' differing tasks in the peloton, and unfortunate events such as flat tires, crashes and drug test disqualifications. I think I'd rather read about the tour in books, watch movies or view the current progress on OLN TV.

BTW, the list's recommendation to use lemon pledge as a paint protectant, has just been bumped down a notch. In Miami, the cognescenti are using cheaper spray furniture polish. I just bought a can of carnuba based spray for 99 cents. Hopefully I'll still have adequate sweat protection with the lower priced stuff. It smells so nice though. Just like a chemical version of lemons. Yummm
