Stamped aluminum handlebar plugs, very trendy stuff, hitting prices on eBay of over $200 a set at one point, though the prices seem to have come down a bit since. I found these in the bottom of a bin at my local bike shop last year and my wife thought I was nuts when I showed them to her and told her what they were worth.

I sold all but one set, split the money with the bike shop owner and spent my half on a (used) Richard Moon frame, had just enough left over to take my wife out to dinner. I still don't know who's more amazed... me, the wife, or the bike shop owner.
