I'm not sure I understand why anyone would want to resurrect the Lambert name. Rather like resurrecting the Edsel. Well perhaps not quite that bad, since Lambert, like Edsel was a financial failure, but at least Lambert was boldly innovative. A charitable comparison would be to the Tucker Torpedo, but I don't think Tucker had design flaws comparable to the Death Fork or the non-tapered BB axle.
You'd think people would want to revive a marque that was profitable the first time around.

Hey Charlie:
This is interesting...
A few years ago I saw some reference to this reincarnation of the Lambert brand and contacted the persons listed because they had a supposed office in Atlanta... I thought they might want to premier or at least show the bike(s) at the Cirque. Of course they barely responded & never came ... I soon got the impression that this was another marketing idea that did not really exist outside a prototype or two.
In the case of this eBay auction, I think it's interesting that this seller says: " The new Campagnolo equipped Tourist Trophy is now over $3000.00 and there's a 8 month waiting list." I may be a cynic but I would be amazed if this isn't the only one of these and there is no waiting list except in this guy's imagination...
But I am always willing & happy to be corrected with hard evidence!

I thought that someone on the CR list would make note of the Lambert on eBay at present:
I'm guessing the marque won't stick around too very long if the auction is indicative of pricing. Steel, lugged this time around, and, presumably, without a death fork. I know the list has a few Lambert/Viscount fans (and detractors). Has anyone heard of any attempts to resuscitate Lambert?
