Subject: [CR]Atala frames with Tullio Tubing for export?

Dear folks,

It was two years ago that you started the discussion "tulio tubing" on the CR website. This is the first time that i read something about TullioTubing. The bike that i own is a "bandizoil" the company still exists --> http://www.bandizoil.it I think that they imported frames from Atala, it's also made with Tulio tubing. The strange thing is that there was a sticker on the frame (the upper tube) that says: "Campione d'Italia e Del Mondo, 1982, 1983" and this text was only used with Atala bikes?#@! Maybe the first owner changed the decals but why Bandizoil, nobody know's this brand!

I bought the bike for 20 euro's it was painted in metallic light blue and had a chromed fork crown. It was equipped with Campy 980 and weinman rims and handlers, the rims were also from weinman and the hubs were from normandy competition. the crank was from ofmega.

It was my first bike project and i totally changed him into a Bianchi look a like bike, but know i'm thinking to repaint him to an Atala bike with the right gear from that time, so don't blame me for the campy mixup, i was my 1st bike that i "tuned" with campy stuff that i could afford in my student time! I'm still studying but that's not important.
