Were you referring to a particular year, or some other constraint? This one is from 1978. Admittedly, it was a special bike, so it probably doesn't say much about the regular production.

Which brings up another point. We ain't exactly talkin' about ISO9000 facilities here; these were marginal manufacturing facilities, in Italy in the 70s, no less, and it shouldn't come as a great surprise if an occasional bike were made somewhat differently from the rest. Especially one for a special purpose, like a trade show. Or, maybe just because the guy who ran the plating shop woke up with a hangover the day that the bike HAD to be finished. I think it's surprising that they're as uniform as they are.
