Check the list archives. I've wrapped many a bar in cloth tape, but I have noticed some brands wrap much more easily than others, With some of the new stuff, it's almost inevitable that you may get a wrinkle or two, but pulling the tape until your fingers ache and lots of patience should take care of most of them.
