Kyle, Have you measured the actual width of the shell? That might give you some clue as to what is going on. If you really have a 65mm shell, there are still simple "tricks" to make the bike look good and work perfectly well with a spindle meant for a 68mm wide shell. If you're willing to use an out-of-CR-timeline part, the cutest way to make this work might be to find an early Athena cartridge bearing BB. In fact, that's what is on my Waterford track bike. But it's not just any Athena part, so let me give you some details: - Cartridge bearings - spindle is 111mm, symetric. (let's say the spindle is 109 to 111mm, depending on the particular piece you pick off the shelf. It all seems to depend on how the spindle end is finished) - this is the important part: this particular Athena BB uses a separate mounting cup on each side. I.e. there is no real fixed cup with an integral mounting lip on the drive side.

The idea is that you can shift this one around a bit, much like Phil Wood piece.
