Lou Deeter said gluing has been tried with Vitus and Alan aluminum frames.

And I respond, true, true, I have a Vitus with aluminum joints and carbon fiber tubes that were glued, albeit dubiously. But has anyone glued a steel tube to a steel lug? When I listen to how bad it is to overheat tubes, something like J.B. Weld, only with a more purpose conceived recipe, might not be such a bad idea. ...if it worked as well.
