That doesn't make sense...
McLean totally switched over to "Ultima" sourced materials in about 1981. The McLean line, in fact, was based upon uniform materials; lugs, etc., so he didn't have to figure each frame sets core setup specs. McLean went way out on a limb and borrowed a bunch of $ and bought a big l;oad of Cinelli lugs, Columbus tubing, etc all from Texas. (Campagnolo USA /Ultima Group hq)
Maybe that was an odd frame built with all Haden components? (BB, lugs & fork crown...)
There is possibly ande interstring sory here because the Haden lugs are an oddity from him. He used the crown a few times but I cannot remember another frame using those lugs (not that I saw all of his frames but I saw a lot of them!)
I heard maybe Larry Osborne was the previous owner? Might we know from whence that frame came?
