dave, what a beautiful cycle!!! the blackburn looks great(all leveled up)and i wouldn'nt put a period rack on the bike unless you wanted to install a swiss made pletcher without the double spring (liftable stop) as that is the earlier model... the man in the basement was probably right about the other model being "for touring" as the front fork may have had the double eyelets for fender and rack as well as a braze on for a generator....nice to see so old a bike looking so roadworthy...charlie flaherty in baltimore maryland
