That's also my experience with Rigida alloy rims. Red label on 700C, blue label on 27".

Are you sure that those "blue" label 700C hoops happen to be Rigida rims? If so, when you get a chance, could I possibly persuade you to take a picture of their rim labels and forward a copy of same on to my email address? I have never once seen "blue" Rigida rim labels used in that sizing - only in 27" (...but hey, if I am lucky then I get to learn something new every day). Thanks in advance.
